The purpose of this Policy is to state our position regarding the giving, offering, promising, and receiving of gifts, presents, entertainment, travel, and other hospitality by Map&An Digital and Financial Services employees. Specific concerns arise when the offer may be linked in some way to a potential commercial transaction or business approval. However, even if there is no intention to corrupt, there remains a risk that the recipient may perceive the offer of a particular gift, present, entertainment, or hospitality as an attempt to obtain undue advantages, which this Policy aims to prevent.
It is in this sense that, without prejudice to the desire to foster good relations with business partners and other interested parties through legitimate and occasional social interactions, this Policy is applied to all Employees.
Gifts, Presents, Meals and Hospitality are items with no commercial value or with a market value below R$ 100.00 (one hundred reais), distributed or received as a courtesy, advertising, routine promotion or on the occasion of events or commemorative dates of a historical or cultural nature, which are of a general nature and should not occur habitually for the same Employee or individual, Public Agent or not. It is limited to once in a period of 12 (twelve) months.
Whenever possible, gifts should be intended for a legal entity (company, organization, entity, etc.) and not for a specific individual. Any employee who fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Policy will be subject to sanctions related to misconduct. Map&An Digital and Financial Services repudiates any act of attempted corruption, bribery, or undue advantage in its business dealings, including those involving employees, service providers, clients, or public officials.
